Life feels more fulfilling when you pour your energy into the things that truly light you up. It’s almost like where you’re spending your energy is also recharging you at the same time
The hard part is figuring out what it actually is that you’re passionate enough about to create that feeling. It can take time, it can take trial and error, trying new things, letting ourselves be a beginner, and not being scared of failing, but sometimes it just takes asking ourselves the right questions
Here are a few journaling prompts to help you discover what brings you a sense of aliveness, fulfilment, and connection. Get curious and don’t hold back
What activities make me lose track of time because I am so focused and present?
What do I find myself daydreaming about when no one is asking anything of me?
When was the last time I felt genuinely excited about something? What was happening?
What topics or ideas do I naturally want to learn more about, even when no one is telling me to?
What do I admire in other people that I secretly want for myself, too?
If I could create a day that feels meaningful and energising from start to finish, what would it include?
What conversations make me feel alive, curious, or inspired?
What did I love doing as a child that I have not made space for as an adult?
In what moments do I feel most like myself?
What is something I could talk about for hours without getting bored?
What parts of my current life feel heavy or draining, and what feels light or natural?
What is something I would pursue if fear, judgment, or failure did not matter?
What is one small thing I can do this week that reflects who I want to become?
What do I want people to feel or experience because of something I created, shared, or contributed to?
What passion or interest has been quietly pulling at me that I keep brushing aside?
These prompts are not here to give you a final answer, but to help you listen to the voice inside that already knows what you want
